Yoga Classes, Workshops & Retreats
at the K.I.T.E Centre

Dynamic K.I.T.E. Yoga - Wednesday's at 6pm.

This is quite an active class where we move, stretch and strengthen the body, sometimes we fall over but it is very welcoming and lighthearted. Expect the heart rate to rise a little at times, to help get us fully into our bodies. We finish with a guided relaxation, so bring a blanket if you have one.

No yoga experience required, but an ability to get up and down off the mat will enable you to get the most out of this class.  Please get in touch with any queries. Injuries welcome, but please get in touch before attending.

Mindfulness Yin Yoga - Tuesdays 9:45am

A wonderful way to start off your day! In this class we hold supported postures whilst we are guided through mindfulness meditations. Suitable for all. Bring a blanket and a cushion.

For all classes, please bring a mat if you have one. If not, we have mats available to borrow.  Please bring a blanket if you would like to be cosy for the final relaxation (highly recommended, especially in winter!)

NOTE: We do not run regular classes in the School holidays:

Easter Break: No classes w/c 7th and 14th April

Summer Break: No classes from the 7th July until we are back on the 20th August. However, there will be some events and classes running over this time. Please check back for any details.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Regular Yoga Classes


Workshops & Retreats

We love to share different practices and get a little bit deeper with the yoga and somatics works we do. 

Here is our current schedule for workshops and half day retreats.

The Body Speaks: Somatics & Anxiety - Sat 26th April 2025 10am. This is a half day practical workshop which looks at Somatic techniques in relation to anxiety. We will look at some theory, but a lot of the learning will be experiential. It will, however, be lighthearted and there will be a sweet treat for elevenses. :-)

Half Day Retreat - Sat 10th May 2025 - 1:30pm - "A stable base, to find our space." This retreat is all about connecting to ourselves so that we can reclaim the space this was always ours. So often we allow ourselves to be diminished, we fade away, we people please... this is all about standing our ground. When we do this somatically, we find we are able to be stronger in our convictions and standing up for what we believe and who we are. This session is about finding our voice and allowing our heart to sing. (We won't be singing (unless you want to) but there will be cake..). It is rooted in yoga and mindfulness, along with a sprinkling of psychological somatics. You don't need any prior experience, but a sense of curiosity is encouraged. I can't wait to share this day with you, it can be quite thought/action provoking.
