where physical & mental wellbeing meet

Welcome!

Thanks for popping in. Here is a brief intro into what we do at Alice McNeil Integrative Health.

Hi, I'm Alice, the one behind this work, but behind me is husband Pete and our 2 small(ish!) kids... We relocated up to the far north of Scotland where the wild spaces and welcoming people reflect who we are, but also the ethos behind my work.

Through over a decade of clinical work in Physiotherapy; Yoga Teaching; and Somatic Counselling, I see that every person is truly different. We all have own histories, perceptions, beliefs, joys, fears and needs. I also believe that, as in the wild, everything is connected. My aim is to support you to achieve your wellbeing goals by working with the whole body, in an entirely individualised approach.

Often in healthcare, and in wider western society, the body and the mind are seen as separate domains. Worse still, often our bodies and minds are treated as if they are the same as every body else! However, when we re-connect OUR body and mind, we reconnect with a deeper wisdom and vitality, where self knowledge and healing can arise.

The space I create and hold at our off-grid centre (The K.I.T.E. Centre) near Dingwall, invites you to come as you are, in all your humanness. In my group session, we move together, we fall over, we laugh… and we get stronger, fitter and more capable. In my 1:1 sessions we co-journey to support you to reach your aims, whether that be recovery from injury, management of a condition, or just wanting to feel a little less stuck or dissatisfied with life.

If you’re a Health Professional and you’d like to integrate body-mind medicine skills and techniques within your personal and professional practice, I offer mentorship and am currently developing an online course to address this very important need.

My main areas of working are below, so have a click, and if you get stuck, just get in touch!
